Intensive
Home Based Services
Intensive Home Based Services are provided to families in which
a child is in immediate risk of being removed from the home
due to child abuse, neglect, or severe mental health disorders.
This program works to improve parental functioning and with
children in foster care who are experiencing difficulties with
adjustments.
KYDC staff deliver in-home support, assistance, and behavioral
health treatment to families to help them discover solution
to challenges they confront daily. In-home services may range
from very low intensity care, such as case management or care
coordination, to more intensive services that include daily
interventions.
