| Klamath
Youth Development Center (KYDC) is a private, non-profit corporation
established in 1980 as a mental health clinic for children and families.
It was organized by local community leaders and officials whose intent
was to establish a county-wide resource where children with mental
health and behavioral disorders could receive child-specific, state-of-the-art,
family-focused treatment. KYDC has since become the largest and most
significant provider of private and public mental health care for
children and families in this region.
